Coche-Dury is a master of Meursault. His basic Meursault is anything but. It very well may be the greatest village wine on earth. The only other contender would be Leroy’s Vosne-Romanée Aux Genaivrières. Tasting his villages Meursault makes this very, very clear. The 2011 Meursault has no trouble keeping pace with top 1er Crus and many Grand Crus.
