L’ANCIENNE CURE JOUR DOUX 12

Since the mid-19th century, or 5 generations back, there are traces of vines in this small Colombier family property in the Dordogne. In the beginning of grapesrubbed grain production and dairy cattle and, in 1935, Amédée Roche founded with some winegrowers cooperative winery Monbazillac.

Description

Today, the vineyard, in conversion to organic farming, covers 45 hectares onMonbazillac appellations, Bergerac and Pécharmant. The dominant grape variety almost half of the vines  is Semillon followed the côt, the Merlot, Muscadelle,Sauvignon and Cabernet.
