Sus orígenes datan del siglo XIX, cuando desde la desamortización de Mendizábal los bisabuelos de los actuales propietarios adquirieron las tierras de la Cartuja de Escaladei, donde los monjes cartujos ya elaboraban sus vinos siglos atrás.
