In 1977, Emmanuel Rouget was hired to work at the estate of his famous uncle, Henri Jayer, the most legendary winemaker in Burgundy. Emmanuel had a deep love for viniculture and quickly excelled under his uncle’s careful tutelage. By the mid 1980s, he had had taken over much of the winemaking, and critics began singing Emmanuel’s praises.
