In 1997, Carlos Falcó. Michel Rolland and Julio Mourelle made the assemblageof the first Emeritus, which hit the market in late 2000. Currently, this wine is made from grapes coming from the historic vineyards of Valdepusa: CabernetSauvignon (planted in 1974) and Petit Verdot (1992), along with small amounts of Syrah (1991) and Graciano (2000).
